Welcome to We Signed Up Too!

Beginning a new season is exciting...

whether it is a new season of life, a new season in the year or even a new season of your favorite TV show. The truth is, as unpredictable as change can be, there is undeniably an excitement that comes with it.

With change comes possibilities but along with that, growth. Change means stepping out of your comfort zone and having to face hard things even when it doesn’t come easy.

However, change can also mean rest, it can mean finally leaving a more difficult season of your life and finding encouragement in the one that lies ahead.

Wherever you are on that scale, my friend, I just want to encourage you that it is not over yet. The amazing thing about life is that nothing will last forever, as surely as summer will change into fall, seasons of life will come and go.

It doesn’t mean it is easy at the moment, but you can rest assured that you will get through it and one day you will look back a better person because of the struggle.

The challenge in the moment is to continue going, to keep your vision, hopes and dreams in mind and allow those to encourage you, even when things get tough.

Unfortunately, sometimes things get worse before they become better, but seasons of life change. As we enter the most festive and hectic season of the year, filled with holidays, food and family fun, I encourage you to stop and take time to enjoy the present.

It’s easy to get so caught up with life that you can miss opportunities right in front of you to grow and thrive even when everything around you are changing.

So, regardless of what season of life you find yourself in, I challenge you, as I am challenging myself, to embrace the change and stay rooted in the present, remembering that even in the uncertainty exciting opportunities can be found.
